Life's irony; Every Birthday is one year closer to the grave.

Virtually every human being on earth today thinks of their birthdays as very important. And yes, it really is. The day you were born is really important for many reasons. And more often than not, it is the day you get the most attention channeled in your direction from your loved ones. But shouldn't we also think that every new year in one's life is a year closer to their grave? 

I'm privileged to be alive today and be a part of the wonderful people marking their birthdays today all around the world. There's really no better time to be born than in February. 

I'm Progressive Bello Abdullah Afolabi, aka Field Marshall. I'm the managing director of Bellab Farms and agro allied services. Since today is my birthday, I felt I could use this opportunity to be an inspiration to someone out there today. Hopefully, that person could be you.

I am where I am today only by the grace of God. Many times, what many people see is the blissful part of one's life, but the reality is life is made up of ups and downs. Every superstar you see up there today has been through series of ups and downs. Some were even life threatening to them. But you never know because the only part of their lives you see or that they show you is the blissful part. It's way more than that.

Before you give up on that your dream, you must remember that there is nothing happening to you today that has not happened to anyone else. I as an example. My life has been through many ups and downs. In fact, very recently I had a very traumatizing experience. It was a whole lot. But I didn't give up and I haven't given because I understand that when there is life, there is hope. When you live with hope you live longer. So never give up on life. As long as you remain strong and hopeful, you will always overcome.

In life, people have many expectations of us. These expectations sometimes puts us under some very unnecessary pressure. The journey to the top is not easy but yet, it is easier to get to the top than to remain there. That's why we must streamline our focus in life to only the things that really matter. We must keep checking ourselves to ensure that we are living an impactful life. You always want to keep asking yourself, "Am I making true impacts?" "What would I be remembered for when I exit this earth?" Leaving a legacy on the earth should be the desire of every man before leaving the earth. And this is one of the key things our birthdays should remind us of every year. It must remind us that we have limited time to make the impact we want to make. It must remind us that we are drawing closer to the grave and whatever we want to do on the earth must be done quickly. No man will live here on earth forever.

I want to say a big thank you to every member of my family for their love and support so far. I could not have been here without you. I say a big thank you to all my friends. You guys are the reason I keep going. I say a big thank you to my fans and my loved ones for your prayers and support. I can really feel the impact of your prayers. 

I use this medium also to wish every Hustlers around globe a fruitful and blessful Hustlings. Like I started with, there is no better month to be born. Keep hope alive and live a life of impact.
